Burn Selector Festival - Kraków, PL

Festival is focused mainly on electronic and dance acts, but dancefloor friendly rock acts will also have their slots. Apart from the big names there’s a plenty of space for a new, fresh and innovative sounds. In further years programme will be extended with art and multimedia.

It’s a perfect way to start the festival summer in perfect location - Krakow is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, known for it’s outstanding architecture and art. Although festival is situated in green fields of central part of the town, it’s the indoor event held in 2 big concert tents (with space for more than 15,000 people).

Selector is promoted by festival specialists - Alter Art, responsible for two biggest Polish summer festivals: Heineken Open’er Festival (Gdynia) and Coke Live Music Festival (Krakow) so you can expect a lot.

Last year, the biggest international star of Selector Festival was La Roux. La Roux is English duo made up Ben Langmaid and Elly Jackson, but all of the lights go on red-haired Elly.Their first album “La Roux” was released in 2009 and includes such a singles as “Quicksand", "In for the Kill" and "Bulletproof". Music world got crazy about it and the album reached the second place at UK Album Chart. The matter of time were: international tour, guest appearances on Kanye’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” and last but not least Grammy Award 2010 for Best Electronic Album. They are currently working on their second album.

Heineken - Open'er Festival - Gdynia, PL

For three days the military airfield Babie Doly, on the outskirts of Gdynia is transformed into a huge concert area and witnesses a stunning spectacle of music...

 During three days thousands of music fans flock to the festival grounds to immerse themselves in the world of phenomenal sounds and experience the legendary atmosphere of the Open’er. With a variety and high artistic quality of performances, the festival satisfies fans and music connoisseurs of many kinds.

The Open’er provides unforgettable emotions and those who took part in the festival once want to experience its friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere again.

The organizers of the festival invite both popular and original artists, and high guality of the performances is guaranteed! Open’er has starred famous music names like Placebo, Massiv Attack, Fatboy Slim, Prince, Coldplay, Manu Chao, Bjork, Muse and many others, who gave memorable shows for cheering and jumping crowds.

Next edition of this festival will be held on 4-7.07.2012 in beautiful Gdynia and as always all participants will be sleep on huge camping area. It amazing to meet over 40.000 people which are huge music fans. This year the biggest stars will be Bjork and music group The XX.
